Matthew has under and post graduate qualifications in Commerce and Marketing from Canterbury and Victoria Universities.
While working in various marketing and communications roles Matthew enjoyed and focussed on the interaction and beneficial relationship that business has with the creative process. He therefore formally 'jumped the fence' when he joined Base Two in 2001.
Matthew has extensive experience in managing all aspects of the creative process from strategy development through to implementation into all communication media.
As Account Director, his focus is on delivering the best possible results for the clients by sharing a vision with the team that is to understand the clients needs and goals, work to a clear brief and develop outstanding creative solutions every time.

Sean is trained in fine arts as well as graphic design and has more than 18 years experience as a practising designer and art director in New Zealand and the UK. He is a fellow and past president of the Designers Institute of New Zealand (DINZ) and has judged New Zealand’s Spectrum Print Book Design Awards and the Best Design Awards. Sean brings a depth of creative talent to his work with particular strengths in design strategy, brand development, integrated campaign strategies and art direction.
He thrives on the challenges of working in a creative environment and strives to consistently exceed clients’ expectations by delivering quality creative solutions with a defined purpose and clear message. He believes strongly in a holistic approach to design and in working collaboratively to achieve outstanding creative results for his clients. Sean is particularly passionate about the influence that design innovation can have on the sustainable development of New Zealand as a global centre for design excellence.

Neil has over 26 years experience as a designer, initially working in art museums, then as director of Eyework Design, which he founded in 1989. Neil joined Base Two as a Creative Director in 2004.
Neil's portfolio spans both the corporate and arts sectors, his experience ranging from brand development and annual reports, to exhibition and graphic design for prominent New Zealand art galleries and museums.
Considered one of New Zealand's foremost designers, his work is regularly recognised at the Designers Institute of New Zealand Best Awards and Spectrum Print Book Awards. He has twice represented New Zealand at the Frankfurt Book Fair.
Neil is a leading New Zealand contemporary photographer, with his work held in private and public collections throughout Australasia. And as a film director and producer, Neil's work has been officially selected for many international festivals including Cannes and Montreal.
Neil is of Ngai Tahu, Kati Mamoe, Kati Waewae and Pakeha descent and is a graduate of Elam School of Fine Arts, University of Auckland.

Colin has an Honours Degree in Graphic Design from Staffordshire University and a Master’s Degree in Multimedia Design from Central St. Martins in London.
As Interactive Director he places particular emphasis on creative graphical solutions. He takes a broad view that good design on all levels of a project is necessary to develop and deliver a successful user interface, which is both functional and friendly, while still being evocative and pleasing to the eye.
With 25 years’ experience in the design industry, 18 of which have been spent in web design and development area, Colin was one of the early pioneers of web design. He has worked with organisations worldwide in countries such as Spain, Germany, USA, Mexico, Canada and the UK. Colin is also a recipient of the Ford Motor Company Best Service Provider Award, for his work for the Ford intranet.
A TAUNZ finalist on a number of occasions, Colin produced New Zealand’s first online insurance website for AMP. He also periodically lectures on web design at Massey University and Whitireia Polytechnic, as well as taking time to be a Masters supervisor and external assessor.
Colin has a broad base of experience web wide and as Base Two’s Interactive Director he project manages all web and multimedia developments, priding himself in his ability to deliver top quality useable sites and applications that are intuitive to use and pleasing to look at.
